Alcoholic hepatitis, Severe disease
- 40 mg/day orally for 4 weeks and then taper over 2 to 4 weeks or discontinue, based on clinical situation. Consider discontinuation if no response at 7 days (ie, Lille score of 0.45 or greater); discontinuation recommended if Lille score greater than 0.56 (guideline dosage)
Allergic condition
